Sugar-Free Teriyaki Sauce Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • ¾ cup soy sauce or coconut aminos (for a soy-free alternative)
  • ¼ cup brown sugar substitute (such as monk fruit sweetener, Swerve brown, or allulose)
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • ½ tsp xanthan gum (for thickening)

Instructions
 

  • In a small saucepan, combine all the ingredients except the xanthan gum
  • Bring to a simmer over medium-low heat, stirring frequently.
  • Sprinkle in the xanthan gum and whisk continuously until the sauce reaches the desired consistency.
  • Allow the sauce to cool slightly before using or storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
